Brand Identity for the travel agency “Desturi Safari”

Desturi Safari is a company, with thirty years of experience, that offers their customers bespoke travel experience, across Africa.
With a competitive environment already saturated with companies looking to target the same audience, it was important for me to achieve a brand identity that was unique, memorable and showcased a compelling differentiation from all other agencies.
I designed the logo with a unique footprint: the merger of the words, “Desturi”, which means tailor-made, and “Safari”, to discover the animals and the culture of East Africa.
The result is simple, elegant, and iconic and aims to represent the company’s goal: customize and make unique the Safari experience for each customer.

The brand identity consists of logo development, brand colours and patterns, website, social, merchandise, business stationery, and a pocket guide to accompany the clients during their journey,
to discover and learn more about the African flora and fauna.

Brand guidelines were created to cover all aspects of the new visual identity, and the commercial application rules, for the client.




I developed a unique monogram step and repeat pattern as an additional asset for the client to use as a part of their brand toolbox. The pattern elevates the brand even further, taking inspiration from luxury fashion and accessories brands.
